Gay Ave. is a street in the SE quadrant of the city. It intersects Fulton. It is named after George W. Gay, co-founder of the Berkey and Gay Furniture Company and the original owner/builder of the house at 422 Fulton Street E (on the corner of Fulton and Gay Ave.).
